(Jet) Mixing Matters

Better Hydraulic Mixing with Less Energy Demand

Jet Mixing.jpg

Sustainability at water resource recovery plants depend heavily on anaerobic digestion, the process by which bacteria stabilizes sludge and breaks down waste into biogas. This process in turn depends on four key components: lack of oxygen, a stable temperature (typically 95° F), a steady feed rate and adequate mixing.

While the first three components are commonly found at wastewater treatment facilities, the fourth one, mixing, is not sufficient at many plants.

Fill out the form below to read a white paper and learn how proper mixing improves digester performance and reduces maintenance costs over the lifetime of anaerobic digestion systems.
