Description

Arch rib style digester covers are an econmoical alternative to truss style steel covers. With factory welded sub-assemblies shipped to the jobsite, installation time and cost is greatly reduced. Offered in fixed, floating and gasholder style covers, a solution is available for all plant's digestion needs.

The arch rib cover consists of "pie" sections of two radial beams with single layer roof plate. These sections are installed in an alternating fashion, connected to the center gas dome and perhipheral rim skirt with tension ring, and the structure is completed with intermediate roof plate.

Stirrup style hold down brackets anchor fixed covers to the digester, imparting only vertical loading to the concrete tank wall.

Floating covers and gasholders move within the tank based upon liquid and gas levels in the digester. Movement is guided by stainless steel guide rails with UV resitant UHMW for maximum stability and trouble free movement. Evoqua's proprietary concrete ballast trough design greatly reduces installation cost while creating a substantially safer work environment. Concrete is pumped into the provided steel trough once the cover is fully erected. The trough is sized by Evoqua to provide the proper amount of total weight for the cover to develop operating pressure, so no need to worry about sourcing and lifting seperate concrete ballast blocks, logs or custom formed rings.
