For over 40 years, Evoqua has been actively treating groundwater for the removal of organic and inorganic impurities. We were one of the first companies to provide remediation of impacted waters with the development of our activated carbon treatment packages for the removal of trichloroethylene (TCE), now recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Best Available Technology. Since then we have worked with water districts, impacted communities, industrial customers and the military to remove both organic compounds, including TCE, TCP, PFCs, THMs, H2S, and inorganic contaminants including, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), arsenic, chrome, lead, perchlorate, and nitrate.
We use pump and treat systems based on our own vessel designs that can be either purchased or rented for shorter term projects. We have one of the largest, most diverse mobile fleets in the country. Our on-site services include emergency mobile services, temporary mobile services or long-term mobile or permanent installations and systems integration.
Our mobile solutions can be configured according to your application and treatment goal with the most effective media based on water tests.
The vessels can operate up to 150 psig with capacities from 5 gpm to 2,000 gpm. They include standard features such as:
- Optimized underdrain system for lower pressure drops
- Top and side manways that permit easy access and inspection of the underdrain system
- Septa tank configuration that allows for more treatment in less space
- Durable, quality construction with 100% internally/externally welded seams
- Abrasion and corrosion resistant internal epoxy coating
Our ongoing service capabilities include:
- Regular, scheduled on-site service checks and monitoring using our local branch
- Chlorine rinse during changeouts which prevent bacterial growth
- Skidded assemblies that allow movement to another site if necessary and faster/easier deployment
- System design, air stripping modeling, liquid phase carbon modeling, along with carbon usage predictions and engineering
Evoqua employs a wide range of ion exchange and granular media including both proprietary technologies developed in our laboratories as well as generic media. We can identify the media that will provide you the lowest remediation cost per 1,000 gallons of treated water. We also offer a wide range of financing options to ensure ease of ownership and peace of mind.
Whether your site is an airport, military base, municipal drinking water plant, a construction site, or another source-water treatment site, our line of carbons and resins help you maintain a consistent and compliant supply. Faced with growing populations, increasing regulation of contaminants of emerging concern and stress on water sources, we understand that being able to effectively treat any source of water is most important to our customers.
