Description
The Millennium III™ Chlorine Dioxide Generator is a safe and reliable solution for disinfection by-product compliance, CxT disinfection credits, iron & manganese removal, and taste and odor control. Concentrated chemical precursors are vacuum fed to safely control reactions, maximizing chlorine dioxide yield efficiency at 95 percent and minimizing by-product formation. Fail-safe mechanisms prevent chemical feed due to loss of motive water or vacuum, ensuring safe operation.
Millennium III generators comply with NSF 61 standards for drinking water applications and are easy to use and maintain. Evoqua’s best in class local service ensures compliance and eliminates down-time.
Read how Chlorine dioxide is an effective solution for disinfection byproduct (DBP) control of TTHM's and HAA5's. This is evidenced in the "Study of the Formation and Control of Disinfection By-Products Originating from a Surface Water Supply on the Volcanic Island of Guam", a thesis authored by Erica LaBerge and published by the University of Central Florida. This study utilized an Evoqua chlorine dioxide generator and found that chlorine dioxide minimized DBP formation relative to alternative pre-oxidants.
Read our recent AWWA Journal article on how chlorine dioxide is helping water treatment plants meet Stage 2 Disinfectants and Disinfection Byproducts Rule - Chlorine Dioxide Preoxidation for DBP Reduction.
Millennium III systems may be offered in a full-service solution which is backed by the industry’s most responsive service organization. Our technical experts can provide assistance with the design of a new system or aftermarket support of an existing site.
Working with your plant and process technical staff, our field sales and service personnel begin with a site and process evaluation to develop a full-service solution customized to your system and operational requirements.
